Please see below letter from East Lothian Council outlining their Disconnect & Reconnect Guidance on Mobile Phone-Free Learning Environments starting this academic year (2026/27).   The letter also gives updates around Online Safeguarding & Chromebook Web Filtering as we move to a ratio of 1:2 devices in our Primary Schools.

Please see below our own Wallyford letter regarding the use of Mobile Phones and Smart Watches as updated with the new guidance from East Lothian Council.  This includes the form which you should complete and return if your P4-7 child is bringing a mobile phone/smart watch to school.
