Should your child need first aid they will be brought to the school office. They will receive a sticker detailing the first aid that they have had. he first aider is likely to contact home if the child has had a serious injury.

If your child has to take medicine and it has to be given at school, the Authority require you to complete a form ‘Request for School Administer Medication’ or a Med 1 form which when completed will allow the school to give the medicine to your child at the appropriate time. The form can be obtained from the school office.
Where children carry their own medication to school and self- administer this medication requires parent/carers to complete a Med 2 form.
All medication forms must be updated as soon as any changes to medication are required.

Please let the school know of any medical or dental problems that may affect your child at school.
Parents/carers of children who suffer from epileptic seizures or severe allergic reactions should draw this to the attention of office staff or management upon enrolment. It may be necessary to obtain in some cases an individual care plan from our school nurse.
